Sage’s World is independent and bootstrapped. Premium helps pay for hosting, storage, optional AI and speech services, maintenance, and continued development while keeping the child-facing learning experience free and ad-free.

Storage and infrastructure

Synced profiles, photos, authentication, app delivery, and secure server functions create real costs as more families use the service.

Optional service usage

Adult AI requests and optional Speech Coach processing use outside services with usage costs and limits.

Continued development

Subscriptions support accessibility improvements, testing, maintenance, family support, and new practical features.

Premium is a subscription purchase, not a donation, and is not represented as tax-deductible.

Start the trial when ready

Account creation, verification, and ordinary sign-in do not start it. An eligible signed-in adult selects Start my free 30-day trial from Plan & billing. No card is required.

Use Premium for 30 days

The trial does not automatically become paid. Choose monthly or annual billing only if the adult tools help.

Cancel renewal anytime

Monthly is $5 CAD and annual is $50 CAD. Cancel where purchased. Access normally continues until the end of the paid period.

Return to Free safely

Free supports one active learner at a time. Additional existing profiles are retained and become available again with Premium.

Refunds

For subscriptions purchased directly from Sage’s World, a full refund is available for a qualifying accidental charge, duplicate charge, or charge after cancellation when reported within 30 days.

Google Play or another marketplace also applies its own billing and refund process.

Will the Free plan add ads later?

The current commitment is no ads. If that commitment changes, the site, Privacy & Data page, and Terms will be updated before the change takes effect.

Do child-facing games become more advanced on Premium?

No. All 18 child-facing learning games and all levels are included in Free.

Can a school buy a professional plan?

There is no separate professional account in the current plan structure.

What happens to extra profiles after cancellation?

Free supports one active learner at a time. Additional existing profiles are retained and become available again with Premium.

Will the trial start or charge me automatically?

No. It does not begin at signup, verification, or sign-in. An eligible signed-in adult starts it from Plan & billing. It requires no card and does not automatically convert to paid.

Can I get a refund?

Qualifying accidental, duplicate, or post-cancellation direct charges reported within 30 days are eligible for a full refund. Marketplace purchases also follow the marketplace process.

Is AI required?

No. Every child-facing learning game and manual setup work without AI. Premium AI tools are optional and adult-facing.
